Beating Anxiety And Increasing Your Confidence Levels.

BWanxietywebblogpost

When you are confident about who you are and your ability to adequately handle whatever life brings, you feel calm, relaxed, and happy. On the contrary, when you are anxious and worried, you lack confidence in who you are and your ability to face current and future trials. This is why anxiety and overwhelm will prevent you from having the confidence you need to move forward and live a truly fulfilling life. A lack of confidence will create anxiety every time you face a new and unfamiliar challenge.

Here’s What You Need To Know…

If you are suffering from anxiety, overwhelmed by stress, or lacking in confidence – it is not your fault. No one wakes up in the morning, looks in the mirror and says, “From now on I think I’m going to be anxious and miserable.” No one chooses that suffering. But if you didn’t choose it, how did you end up in this mess?

The truth is you are not alone. Research in the last 10 years has demonstrated that rates of anxiety are increasing at an alarming rate. It is now estimated that 42% of Americans suffer from anxiety or stress related issues. Anxiety is significantly lowering the quality of life for nearly half of all Americans.

But the fact that stress and anxiety are on the rise probably doesn’t make you feel much better. You want to know WHY and you want to know WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. So let’s explore this together..

Why You Are Struggling….

As neurobiologist Steven Porges asserts, safe and connected social interactions are necessary for the development and proper function of the nervous system. These connections provide us with a sense of feeling safe that equips us to meet the challenges of adult life. The human nervous system does not develop in a vacuum, but is very dependent on the child being able to learn to regulate his nervous system as he matures. There are two vital environmental forces necessary for adequate development of balanced nervous system regulation:

  • Communion and reliable care from loving adults.
  • An emotionally and physically safe environment.

For many of us, including myself, our early childhood environments did not provide an atmosphere conducive to the development of a calm, resilient nervous system. In addition, many of us were not taught the foundations of sound emotional and psychological health.
Even for those from good families, outside influences like school bullies, critical teachers, oppressive religious beliefs, surgeries, relationship break-ups and trauma had a deleterious effect on emotional health.

And now you find yourself trying to navigate through life while struggling with deep feelings of insecurity and terrified of what the future may hold for you. And worse, you may even wonder why you are struggling when so many others seem to be doing just fine. Even though you would never have chosen these feelings of stress, overwhelm, and fear – now you feel guilty for having them. You are left feeling broken and defective… wondering what is wrong with you that you just cannot be happy and confident like other people.

But The Truth Is…

When a baby is born into this world, they are never born with an anxiety disorder. They don’t enter this world stressed out and worried about the future. A newborn baby never feels overwhelmed by life circumstances and worries about his future . When you were a tiny baby you didn’t suffer from insecurities or wonder if you weren’t good enough to accomplish your goals.

The truth is that you, like all the babies ever born, were born into this world expecting to be loved, believing that you would be kept safe, and trusting that your needs will be met. You didn’t have a care in the world and as long as your caregivers provided you with a loving and safe environment you continued to feel happy and secure. But life doesn’t work out that way for all of us and perhaps that safe and loving world was not your reality.

There are many things that happened to you that chipped away at your ability to feel safe and trust that life will be good to you. There are many different events and circumstances from your past that programmed your mind into anxiety responses. Events such as:

  • Childhood
  • Trauma
  • Poverty
  • Childhood surgeries
  • School bullies
  • Toxic religious teachings
  • Critical adults
  • Broken relationships
  • Car accidents
  • Natural disasters
  • Illness

Your mind adopted anxiety as a defense mechanism. It was programmed to fear by past life events. It’s not something you would’ve ever chosen. But it happened. Now you are dealing with consequences.

You see, your mind’s number one goal is to keep you safe and protect you from harm. When the brain interprets the events of life as either physically or psychologically unsafe, it creates learned responses and it will often continue those same responses long after the danger has passed. The patterns of thought and behavior that developed as childhood coping mechanisms, no longer serve us as adults. Even the tragedies and heartbreaks in our adult livescan leave a permanent imprint on the mind.

This is because well-learned behaviors are stored deep within the subconscious mind. This is great when you are learning to drive your car or learning to read a book. Once you learned how to do these things, you can now continue to do them mindlessly, without a lot of thought and effort.

But a problem arises when your mind learns patterns of thought and behavior that are pathological. These beliefs and thought processes were meant to protect you in earlier years, but now they are causing you harm. It is their continued persistence that lies at the root of your current struggles.

Your mind was programmed to react to life with patterns of fear and hypervigilance. So you may have tried to reason your way out of the stress and anxiety that you are struggling with, only to keep falling back into the same patterns. You may feel like anxiety has become almost as natural as breathing. Feeling stressed and overwhelmed seems to be a normal part of your day-to-day existence.

I want you to understand that your mind is not broken. It is simply reacting normally to normal circumstances that have happened to you in the past. Your mind actually has a positive intention in mind – to keep you safe.

But the problem is, most of the time these feelings of stress and fear do not keep us safe. They are only keeping you miserable.

Anxiety Can….

Increase your risk for many diseases such as: heart disease, cancer, auto immunity, chronic pain, lowered immunity, headaches, substance abuse and mental illness.

  • Cause lack of focus and memory problems.
  • Cause you to make unwise decisions, rooted in fear.
  • Prevent you from living up to your full potential.
  • Strip you of the confidence that you need to change your life and move forward.
  • Negatively impact your relationships.
  • Cause you to miss out on opportunities.

So those feelings of hypervigilance and fear that developed in the past no longer serve to protect you but hold you back. Instead of feeling confident that you can move forward into your future and create a life you love and become a person you are proud of, you stand still, stuck and afraid to step out and pursue your goals.

And this deeply entrenched anxiety can manifest in a person’s life in several forms:

  • Phobias and fears
  • Separation anxiety
  • Fear of Abandonment
  • Self-sabotage
  • Social anxiety
  • Panic attacks
  • PTSD
  • Muscle tension
  • Chronic pain and illness
  • Lack of Confidence
  • Low self-worth
  • Anger

Stress has even been linked to chronic health issues such as autoimmune conditions, food and environmental allergies, tension headaches, cardiovascular disease, some cancers, chronic pain, skin disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS), and many other chronic illnesses.

Fear Based Beliefs Are The Problem

The mechanism by which childhood trauma and past negative experiences cause anxiety and lack of confidence is through the development of subconscious beliefs.

Negative and toxic beliefs (programmed into your mind by past events, criticisms, and judgements you have been exposed to) are at the root of what has been undermining your confidence and driving your anxiety. We call these limiting beliefs because they limit us from achieving the happy and fulfilled life we truly desire. Here are some of the most common toxic beliefs my anxiety and confidence clients struggle with…

To help you determine what limiting beliefs are holding you back, I offer a FREE Limiting Belief Checklist you can sign up for on the homepage of this website.

Continuing to live in anxiety can cost you dearly. Here is a tough question that you need to ask yourself…

If you had no fear and you knew everything would work out perfectly, what would you do differently? What would your career, your relationships, and your health look like? What would you be doing if you had an abundance of confidence?

You see your anxiety has already cost you enough. It has been keeping you from living the life you were meant to live. It is preventing you from being the person you know you can be. It is holding you back from pursuing your goals and dreams.

The Solution To Stress And Anxiety

But the good news is that anxiety does not have to rob you of your future!

Have you ever noticed that there are those people who seem to be able to handle a lot of stress without even flinching?

When I was struggling with anxiety, I used to marvel at these people, trying to figure out why I was struggling so much and they remained confident and happy. I came to the conclusion that my life is just so much harder. But later when I went back to school and I started to learn how the mind works and studied positive psychology, I realized something that entirely changed my perspective…

  • Confident people think a certain way.
  • Anxious people think a different way.

The way confident and courageous people think is the opposite of the way anxious and stressed out people think.
When stressed out and anxious people learn to think like confident people, they become confident and happy.

So let me be clear, your anxiety and stress have everything to do with the way you’re thinking. But remember those thinking patterns were established subconsciously and that explains why so many of your conscious efforts to change the way you were thinking have failed.

Perhaps like me, you’ve tried so many things to overcome your anxiety only to have it persist.

But the good news is that Transformational Hypnosis is profoundly effective for dealing with stress and anxiety. This is because we are actually getting to the subconscious root cause/s of those patterns that were set in place in your past.

During your 2.5-3 hour session, we will be working with your subconscious mind to overcome negative thinking, looping thoughts, anxiety, stress and overwhelm. We do this by first discovering together the exact past events that led to the development of your negative thinking patterns and limiting beliefs.

Next, using specific tools and processes that are tailored to your specific needs, I help you neutralize and reframe your subconscious triggers, installing new, empowering patterns of thought directly into the subconscious mind. After your session, the use of your customized transformational recording will hard wire those transformational thinking patterns deep into your subconscious mind, creating lasting change. Your anxious thoughts are replaced with empowering and confident thoughts.

Transformational hypnosis will usually accomplish in a single session what may take weeks or even months to accomplish with other therapeutic modalities, even if you suffer from significant anxiety or panic attacks.

9/10 achieve significant results after only a single 30 day program!

These are the same subconscious tools and processes I have used on myself to completely transform myself from a chronically ill, anxious, depressed woman with close to zero self-confidence to a confident, independent woman with a thriving practice.

I know what it’s like to struggle with overwhelm and anxiety. In fact, I once had anxiety so bad that I was afraid to even leave my house. My brain was well-established in habit patterns of anxious thoughts and panic from a background that included a lot of early childhood trauma. Unfortunately this trauma even continued well into my adult life.

I had tried many different healing modalities to no avail. Until I discovered subconscious healing techniques, I made very slow progress towards overcoming my issues and creating a happy life. I was so impressed with how much my life had changed, that I left my job in physical therapy and decided to move into Transformational Hypnotherapy as a full-time career. I trained with famed British therapist, Marisa Peer in London in Rapid Transformational Therapy. Later, I went on to add to my knowledge and received additional certifications in neurolinguistic programming, medical hypnotherapy, and other subconscious modalities.

Listen To What My Clients Are Saying About

Transformational Hypnotherapy For Anxiety….

I have an incurable genetic illness that requires me to go to the doctor and for medical procedures very frequently. Because it started when I was a child, I’ve developed a severe anxiety problem that had to do with medical people and procedures. Because I need to see the doctor several times a month, it was ruining my life. I had one session of transformational hypnosis with Tiffani and it changed my life. I am now free of my former anxiety. I can visit the doctor. I can have medical procedures. I can even think about future surgeries without having panic attacks and losing sleep to anxiety worrying about future appointments.

I was married for 12 years to a man who was both physically and verbally abusive. I was young and afraid to leave him. He always told me I couldn’t make it on my own and he stripped away every bit of self-esteem I had. I planned on leaving him several times but I never had the courage to actually do it. I started having frequent panic attacks and I knew I had to do something. My 10-year-old daughter was getting more and more depressed each day. I found Tiffani through a friend and I did transformational hypnosis by some coaching through her online program. I gained confidence and courage and over the course of our hypnosis and coaching I was able to create a plan to leave my abusive situation. I no longer felt alone. I felt like Tiffani was there to support me and I knew I could do it. I left my abusive husband. I now have a new job and my own place. A happy and safe future is now a reality for me!

Tiffani helped me to overcome the anxiety I was having that prevented me from moving forward as an entrepreneur. There were some really big business decisions on the horizon and I felt completely paralyzed. I had failed a business in the past on two occasions. I had failed in my marriage. Honestly, I just felt like a total failure in every area of my life. Even though there was a part of me that knew I could succeed, I kept sabotaging myself. I would procrastinate and put things off because I was terrified of failing. Tiffani helped me to overcome my fear of failure and I was able to make the decisions I needed to make and move forward in my business. Transformational hypnosis was amazing. I was very skeptical, but I accomplished more in that single session than with my business coach in 12 weeks of coaching.
